Round 13 v Valentine Phoenix

The Bears travelled to Belmont for the round 13 clash against 2nd placed Valentine Phoenix.

 

Coach Mick Boogaard made 2 changes with U/23's keeper Sam (Kermit) Parkinson earning a spot in the 1st team after Tim Pratt was forced to miss the match with a facial injury. Tyson Fletcher has been proving a good off season signing with some good performances in the top grade but he found himself being the player who made way for Matt Tooheys return from suspension.

Round 12 v Edgeworth Eagles

Edgeworth Eagles travelled to Thomas and Coffey Park as State League Leaders on the back of an unbeaten start to the season. The Bears have also had some positive results of late turning their season around and sitting on the cusp of the top 4 after the season appeared lost 5 weeks ago.
