A cagey opening between the sides was ended with a penalty awarded to Maitland and while Benn Kelly did very well to save the spot kick it was put away from the rebound. From there on Weston struggled to impose themselves and even with Maitland going down to 10 men it wasn't the Bears day, eventually going down 0-3.
