SENIORS

Weston were on the road travelling to Darling Street Oval to face an always tough Hamilton Olympic.

The under 19s have hit a speed hump over the past few weeks and were looking to turn the switch back to winning ways. Unfortunately it wasn't today and they went down 2-1.

The U22s were also given a touch up going down 4-1 against the second placed Olympic.

The day didn't get any better in 1st grade. Olympic put 7 past the Jets last week and by the 25th minute were up 3-0. Weston certainly weren't helping their cause with some uncharacteristic defending but did create chances of their own and if taken would have kept them in the game.

Olympic then scored twice after half time to put the game to bed by the 75th minute. Garry McDermott claimed a consolation goal for the Bears shortly after in a game that the Bears really didn't give themselves a chance in.

With that out of the system, Weston welcome Broadmeadow to Rockwell Automation Park next week in a game that is extremely important to the semi final claims of both teams.
