====== MEDIA RELEASE=====

Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) PS4 National Premier Leagues (NPL) club Weston Workers Bears FC were presented with their Certificates of Achievement for Level 1 and 2 Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Club Accreditation on Sunday, 19th April at the club's home ground, Rockwell Automation Park.

NNSWF Senior Club and Referee Development Officer Gary Fisher presented the club with both Level 1 and 2 Certificates of Achievement.

In receiving this recognition, Weston Workers becomes one of 30 clubs in NNSWF to achieve Level 1 status and one of just a handful of clubs in Australia to attain Level 2 recognition.

The process of achieving this accreditation involved collaboration with NNSWF Senior Club and Referee Development Officer, Gary Fisher, towards meeting criteria in areas including Coach Education, Club Governance and Management, Volunteer Development, Safety and Risk Management, and Future Planning.

'By gaining a Level 2 Accreditation, Weston Workers FC has taken yet another step towards achieving best practice in the criteria areas and identified the need to continuously improve and provide the best environment for their players and members,' NNSWF Senior Club and Referee Development Officer Gary Fisher said.

'As a result, Weston Workers FC has put itself in a better position to retain and recruit players, attract sponsors and attract volunteers,' Fisher concluded.
